What is Blissful Nomad?

Once upon a time I was a firm believer on having a career.  Not the cliche “Go to college, get a big-girl job, get married, pop out some babies and live happily ever after.”  Honestly, screw that.  I’ve NEVER been that type of girl.  I used to think happiness involved working 12 hour days in a hot kitchen- 6 days a week.   Well, one day I woke up and realised “What the hell is the point of that?  If life involves working myself to death, then something is wrong.”   So, I tossed in my apron (literally) and moved out of the country to finally start Living.   I must say it has been the best decision I have ever made.  This concept inspired me to start my blog dedicated to traveling and photography.

If you are unhappy, make a change in your life.  Pack a bag, buy a one way ticket somewhere and find yourself through another part of the world.   Find your bliss and live it!

The photography on this site is all of my personal photographs that I have taken, nothing has been borrowed or stolen.

Enjoy! 🙂

  • Hi Kylie (not said with a Russian accent!)

I just finished looking at ALL your gorgeous photos!!!! Truly amazing! And I enjoyed your commentaries immensely! Maybe along with lots of photography a book might be in your future! Thank you for sharing all of these beautiful sights…. I love “eye candy” as much as you, and since I can’t travel as you are doing, I appreciate these photos to help me feel like I’m seeing the world! Plus I enjoy seeing you and Patrick and your beautiful smiles! Wish there were colored hearts to leave on my message like on my phone!!!! Alas all I have are exclamation marks to add zest to my words!!! Love you! Mom
